Practice-inspired educational scenario

A portal has generated a document and already has it in the server response. The user selected an optional saved copy for later use. The storage service is unavailable and the copy was not saved. The document can still be safely displayed and downloaded. In this exercise, durable storage is not a condition for document validity or completion of a mandatory business operation.
